The Long Beach, Calif., Coin Club was awarded for its 25-year membership with the American Numismatic Association at the September Long Beach Coin Expo.
Larry Shepherd, ANA executive director, and Walt Ostromecki, ANA governor, were on hand to present the award.
LBCC was one of the club hosts for the convention. Governor Ostromecki, now in his 22nd year, heads up the expo’s youth activities, the Family Numismatic Outreach program and, with the help of Darrell Crane, the Treasure Hunt program.
