Aiken club names new fiscal year board

The Stephen James Central Savannah River Area Coin Club of Aiken, S.C., elected its officers for the 2010-2011 fiscal year at its March 4 meeting.

Nominated were Steve Kuhl for president, Arno Safran for vice president, Jim Mullaney for recording secretary, Sharon Smoot for treasurer, and Glenn Sanders for sargeant in arms.

Because there were no other forthcoming nominations and the motion to close the nominations was passed unanimously, Secretary Helen Barry cast one ballot for the five nominees. The new board began its duties April 1.
