Hershey, Pa., dealer Rich Uhrich, reports the seventh known 1806 Knob 6, “No Stem Through Claw” Bust half dollar, Overton-108.
He acquired it through consignment.
He says this variety has been highly sought for decades. The coin is graded Fine-12 by Professional Coin Grading Service.
The coin, called the Pennsylvania Specimen, has been owned by the same person for 60 years.
