The 2013 America the Beautiful 5-ounce silver bullion and uncirculated coins are about to arrive.

2013 White Mountain -unc- PH

The first of the five bullion coins will be released to Authorized Purchasers on Monday, May 13. It honors White Mountain National Forest.

The uncirculated collector coins of the same design went on sale Thursday, May 16, at the Mint. The price is $179.95 for each coin, although the price may change if the market value of silver fluctuates significantly.

Mintage for the White Mountain uncirculated coin has been set at 25,000.

The Mint has set release dates for the other four 5-ounce uncirculated coins as follows:
• Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial – June 3
• Great Basin National Park – June 24
• Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine – Aug. 26
• Mount Rushmore National Memorial – Nov. 4

Both the bullion and uncirculated coins are minted in Philadelphia. The bullion coins have a brilliant finish and no mintmark. The uncirculated collector coins feature a “P” mintmark and satin finish.

Authorized Purchasers began ordering the Olympic National Park bullion coin on May 23. In little more than two days, 78,700 of the initial 126,700 mintage were purchased by the APs. “Some APs took all of their allocation and some only took a portion,” reported U.S. Mint Public Affairs Director Tom Jurkowsky on May 25.
