Released on March 22, the set is priced at $22.95 and is available via the Mint?s online catalog at www.usmint.gov, or by calling at (800) USA-MINT (872-6468).

It features proof versions of the Lincoln cent, the ?Return to Monticello? nickel, the Roosevelt dime, the Kennedy half dollar and the Sacagawea dollar, all in one sealed presentation case.

A separate presentation case contains proof versions of the state quarters from 2006 ? Nevada, Nebraska, Colorado, North Dakota and South Dakota.
Proof coins are manufactured by the Mint at San Francisco and bear the ?S? mintmark. They are struck with specially prepared, polished dies. Each coin is struck at least twice to ensure detail in a frosted cameo image on a bright, mirror-like background.

The sealed cases containing the coins are inserted into printed sleeves, along with a certificate of authenticity.

There is no household order limit for the set. It is also available through the U.S. Mint?s Online Subscription Program. For more information about th subscription program, visit www.usmint.gov.

The 2006 U.S. Mint 50 State Quarters Proof Set, featuring proof versions of the 2006 quarters, may be purchased separately for $15.95.

A shipping and handling fee of $4.95 per order will be added to all domestic orders.
