Walter Ostromecki and Jeff Garrett are running unopposed for president and vice president, respectively.

U.S. Coin Digest is the most complete and comprehensive color guide to all circulating and non-circulating U.S. coins.

The competition in this election centers on the board of governors. Fourteen candidates will vie for seven seats.

With four incumbent governors running for board seats, at minimum there will be three new faces on the board when its members are sworn in at the World’s Fair of Money in August in Rosemont, Ill.

The incumbents seeking re-election are Gary Adkins, Greg Lyon, Scott Rottinghaus and Mike Ellis.

The other candidates are Richard Jozefiak, William D. Hyder, Oded Paz, Laura Sperber, Jeff Swindling, Tom Mulvaney, Ralph Ross, Jeff Wuller, Steve D’Ippolito and Scott Barman.

In addition to the individual candidacy announcements that have been published, Numismatic News will offer space to all candidates for a 200-word electoral statement and a photograph to be run in a special section to be published to coincide with the start of the election. Statements and a preferred photo should be emailed to david.harper@fwmedia.com.
