Popular skull coins struck for Palau
In 2016, Coin Invest Trust produced two 3-D, high relief, skull-shaped coins for Palau, one in gold and one in silver. These proved an instant sellout. Late in 2017, they released three more.
First up is “Big Skull”: a 80x52 mm, 500 g .999 fine silver $25. This is accompanied by a couple of “Pirate Skulls”: a 38x29 mm, one ounce .999 fine silver $5 and a 13.92 mm, 0.5 g .9999 fine gold $1. Mintages are 555, 1,750 and 15,000, respectively.
Once again, the coins are struck for Palau using CIT’s Smartminting© high relief technology. Both silver products have an antique finish.
Another sellout is likely.
