Hand-crafted Ornaments from the U.S. Mint

This United States Mint introduced two ornaments this year – the 2019 United States Mint Ornament and the 2019 Mighty Minters™ Ornament.

Each is hand-crafted in the United States and features a vibrant design around a 2019 Kennedy Uncirculated Half Dollar, from the Pennsylvania Mint facility.The ornaments are made of solid brass and imitation rhodium to deliver a silver look.The Mighty Minters™ ornament includes a silver cord for ease of display, while the U.S. Mint Ornament is accented with a red ribbon.

The 2019 United States Mint Ornament’s design includes a red and green wreath with eye-catching silver-toned highlights, while the 2019 Mighty Minters™ Ornament introduces kids to some of the Mighty Minters, a wonderful, inquisitive group with a special interest in coin collecting.

The 2019 United States Mint Ornament includes a separate Certificate of Authenticity with information about the ornament and coin, as well as the signature of United States Mint Director, David J. Ryder.The Mighty Minters™ Ornament includes information about the coin and the Mighty Minters featured on the ornament along with Director Ryder’s signature on the back of the packaging.

The Mint is offering each ornament separately for $24.95, or a bundle of the two for $49.90, which interestingly is the retail price of both combined. No product limit or household limit is listed.Since being released on Aug. 13, the 2019 Mighty Minters Ornament has sold 2,394, while the 2019 United States Mint Ornament has sold 3,436.Orders can be placed online here or by calling 800-USA-MONEY.
