Charbneau So-Called Dollar book available

Jeff Shevlin and William D. Hyder examine Jules Charbneau’s gold dollars in their new book, Discover the World of Charbneau Dollars: an Illustrated Reference. The authors examine the history, art and architecture of the Golden Gate International Exposition that inspired Jules Charbneau’s design. Charbneau’s life story and his earlier entry into numismatic history designing the souvenir medals struck for the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition in 1909 follow to give the reader a broader scope of his career and legacy.
