Mint Stats: Slow sales mean summer slump

There were no fireworks in this week’s numbers. Some totals crept ahead by such small amounts that it appears many would-be buyers decided to go off on summer vacation. For example, the uncirculated Army $5 gold piece moved ahead by 11 while the proof advanced by 81. The Medal of Honor commemoratives increased by somewhat larger amounts. Continue reading
