Series of 1882 $50 and $100 Date Backs from anywhere are real prizes but this applies to West Virginia in spades. Only one bank in the state issued them, the Sistersville bank shown here. They might be hard to acquire for your collection because only 17 sheets of the 50-100 82DB combination were sent to the bank before its corporate life was extended in 1916. This was the smallest number of any large size sheet combination issued in the entire state.
