The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has announced its intention to participate in this year’s American Numismatic Association World’s Fair of Money. The show is slated for Aug. 1-5 at Colorado Convention Center in Denver.

“The BEP participates at trade shows, numismatic events and exhibitions to provide a platform for educating the public about the technological advancements and history of currency,” the BEP press release noted. “This objective is accomplished through forging relationships with numismatic societies, educational groups, corporate enterprises and governmental agencies. Attendance and participation at these events provide the opportunity to showcase the BEP in a manner many people would never to be able to experience. Educational exhibits such as the Billion Dollar Showcase are featured, and public sales products and currency manufacturing demonstrations are brought to the public.”
