MintStatistics: American Women Quarter Sets Catch Attention
This month’s Mint Statistics reveal a surprising surge in 2025 American Women Quarter sets and a curious bump in a 2023 proof set.
This month, there has been a consistent rise in all the 2025-dated coins, as well as the 2023 and 2024-dated coins. The 2023 American Women Quarters proof set had a tiny jump in the last month by a couple hundred. Not usually an amount to highlight, but we found it an interesting increase. It is common, if not expected, for there to be a small increase in most coins for a few years after release, but with the 2023-dated coins having been released two years ago, we don’t see a jump of more than about 50 from month to month.
The 2025 American Women Quarter silver proof set went from over 400 last month to a whopping 24,500 this month. It was a slow start in the first month but a good number in the second month. The 2024-dated set only has about 10,000 more. Sales will slow down after the initial increase, but it will be interesting to see how quickly the 2025 set catches up to the previous year.
