MIPMS calls for speakers
The Memphis International Paper Money Show has issued a call for speakers for its 2012 show. The show is scheduled for June 8-10 at the Cook Convention Center in Memphis, Tenn.
Anyone with a presentation centering on fiscal paper or a tie-in topic to fiscal paper is encouraged to apply.
Talks are scheduled on the hour throughout the show to allow for a full program. Each talk is allotted 50 minutes and includes time for questions. Speakers are to arrive 10 minutes before the presentation to allow for set-up.
Presentations must include PowerPoint visuals. Visual aids are strongly encouraged. Speakers are required to either bring their own laptop, or submit a disk containing the presentation to Peter Huntoon two weeks prior to the show.
Applications must include the name or names of the presenters with full contact information for each, the title of the presentation and a catchy, concise and newsworthy description of the presentation, which will be used as the primary source for press releases and show info descriptions.
Accepted speakers are also welcome to include a parallel exhibit of their presentation in the exhibition area.
Also, include whether the presentation will need display cases for show-and-tell items. Up to three are permitted.
