Good turnout for Nebraska coin and stamp show
The 6th Annual Wyo-Braska Coin & Stamp Collectors Show was held Oct. 13 at the Civic Center in Gering, Neb. Show attendance was in excess of 130 collectors and visitors.
Dealers from Colorado and Nebraska were present at this year’s show. The door prize of a 1981 U.S. proof set was won by Erv Hayes of Gothenburg, Neb. and the return attendee prize was won by Darren West of Gering.
Despite welcome heavy morning rain and the Monument Marathon, people turned out in good numbers for the annual event. All the dealers in attendance were pleased with the traffic, especially in the morning, and hoped to return.
The next show is still in the planning stages, but should occur in September 2013.
