Three keys in the Saint-Gaudens double eagle series will be auctioned as part of Scotsman’s “The Collectors’ Auction 2017” on Nov. 3 at the Silver Dollar and Rare Coin Expo in St. Charles, Mo.

Included are a 1921 graded MS-62 by the Professional Coin Grading Service, a 1927-S called MS-64 by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation and a 1930-S PCGS MS-63 with a Certified Acceptance Corporation sticker.

Scotsman Auction Co. will also be putting on the block over 1,000 additional lots, including two 1800 half cents PCGS certified MS-62 Red, a 1795 three leaves Flowing Hair dollar PCGS AU-55, two 1879 Seated Liberty dimes PCGS MS-67, an 1860 Seated Liberty quarter PCGS PR-67, an 1882 Morgan dollar PCGS PR-68CAM, plus many other impressive rarities.

“One of the most exciting collections we have come across, the Quantum Collection, arrived at our office housed in old Wayte Raymond albums just a week or so before the auction deadline,” said Scotsman auctioneer Mark Mamelian.

“This didn’t allow us the opportunity to get the entire collection certified, nor did it allow us the chance to consider any of the material for CAC review. But the coins speak for themselves. With this collection and the other collections included in this auction, I can state that most of our catalog includes coins that have either never been submitted for certification, or have been submitted just a single time,” Mamelian said.

The auction will start at 6 p.m. sharp at the Saint Charles Convention Center, One Convention Center Plaza, Saint Charles, MO 63304.
