The Prescott Coin Club of Prescott, Ariz., has issued an elongated quarter to commemorate its 500th meeting. The club was founded in January 1971, but missed a few meetings over the years, so meeting No. 500 will take place in December 2012.

The information was rolled onto the obverse of the 2008 Arizona state quarter, so its design is visible on the reverse of the elongate.

Guidance on how to get started and enjoy this great hobby!

The quarters are $2 each plus postage of $1.95. (That postage amount is the same whether one or four are ordered because the thick envelope they will be shipped in is viewed as a parcel by the USPS.)

Send your requests and payment to the Prescott Coin Club, P.O. Box 233, Dewey, AZ 86327.
