Dates for the 2019 New York International Numismatic Convention have been changed.
The important world coin show will be held Jan. 10-13.
Location remains the same. It will be at the Grand Hyatt New York at 109 East 42nd Street.
Kevin Foley, the show manager, said Thursday, Jan. 10, will be the traditional Professional Preview.
He also said, “Auction lot viewing will open on Friday, Jan. 4. We’ll have auction sessions presented by multiple companies taking place every day from Sunday, Jan. 6, through Sunday, Jan. 13.
“I feel that our date change serves the interests of everyone. We’ll be one week after the Florida United Numismatists Convention in Orlando, giving our foreign visitors an opportunity to come to the United States for two major conventions held back to back,” Foley said.
Hotel reservations are to be accepted by the hotel beginning Feb. 10, 2018.
Call the Hyatt’s toll free number at 888-421-1442. Ask for the “New York International Numismatic Convention rate." A room is $199 a night; a junior suite is $299; a one-bedroom VIP suite is $549; a two-bedroom VIP suite is $749; and a one-bedroom premier suite is $849.
