Cheyenne’s Sept. show a success

The Cheyenne, Wyo., Coin Club held a show Sept. 29-30 at the Holiday Inn in Cheyenne. Approximately 200 members of the public attended.

Updated folder houses the latest cent issues, including new designs for 2009 and 2010.

A total of 30 dealers filled more than 60 tables on the bourse. Dealer Brian Miller came all the way from Florida. Other dealers came from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Nebraska and Wyoming.

There were hourly drawings for door prizes during the show. The grand prize was a 2012 proof silver Eagle donated by Howard Hinsey of Parker, Colo.

At the club’s evening banquet, Daniel Carr of Longmont, Colo., gave a presentation on Franklin D. Roosevelt’s 1933 gold recall.
