ANA to display rarities in Denver

The American Numismatic Association’s Museum Showcase, featuring rare and historically significant numismatic treasures, will be on display at the 2012 Spring National Money Show May 10-12 in Denver. The showcase includes pieces from the ANA’s Edward C. Rochette Money Museum and exclusive private collections.

The American Numismatic Association’s Museum Showcase, featuring rare and historically significant numismatic treasures, will be on display at the 2012 Spring National Money Show May 10-12 in Denver.

The showcase includes pieces from the ANA’s Edward C. Rochette Money Museum and exclusive private collections.

Grading Assistant — The Grading Assistant is a comprehensive tool to assist you with grading United States coins.

A highlight will be a 1792 half disme, one of an estimated 1,500 struck.

Also on display will be Lesher Referendum dollars, octagonal silver pieces that were privately issued by Joseph Lesher in Victor, Colo., in 1900 and 1901 to boost local commerce and support silver mining.

Attendees will also be able to see the Idler/Bebee Class III Specimen 1804 dollar, known as “The King of U.S. Coins,” and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing’s “Billion Dollar Display.”
