Collectors from the Midwest and beyond will soon be heading to the Chicago area for one of the nation’s premier paper money events, as the 21st Annual Chicago Paper Money Exposition gets under way. Slated for March 5-8 at the Crowne Plaza O’Hare Hotel, 5440 North River Road, in Rosemont, Ill., the show will again feature a top-notch bourse of leading dealers from around the world and a major auction by Lyn Knight Auctions.

Plenty of collectible notes will be available at this year’s Chicago Paper Money Expo.

Whether you collect U.S. small or large size, nationals, world paper money, or stocks and bonds, there’s likely to be something of interest from the 80+-booth bourse, or in the Knight auction. Plus there will be club meetings, including a gathering of the Chicago Coin Club on Saturday, March 7 at 1 p.m. Featured there will be a presentation by Steve Feller on “WWII Civilian Camp Money of North America.”

CPMX show hours are as follows:

• Thursday, March 5: 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (entry to public only by purchase of Professional Preview Day pass for $50).
• Friday, March 6: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($5 public admission fee).
• Saturday, March 7: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. ($5 public admission fee).
• Sunday, March 8: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (free entry to the public, but dealer participation is limited).
