What are you looking forward to most as coin shows and club gatherings start to pick up again?
Our coin club, the South Hills Coin Club here in Bethel Park, Pa., has been having our monthly meetings since June 2020. Also we were able to have our annual coin show a few weeks ago with 272 people coming out for our one-day show. I really do not know what the rest of the United States is doing, but all of the coin clubs here in southwestern Pennsylvania have been having their monthly meetings for some time now. If other clubs have not been having their meetings/shows, we certainly hope that they will resume their meetings very soon.

Yes, the one show I always go to in Nebraska City was cancelled. We do not have many shows around my area, I live north of St. Joseph, Mo.

The thing that I am looking forward to the most is the socialization. All of the members that I’ve talked to really miss coming to their clubs. Also the bargains that you get in the auctions are nice. The educational programs that are put on by the members are informative and enjoyable.

I would like to see more education for new collectors wanting to know how to best go about building collections at reasonable prices.

The human contact and interaction. eBay and the online auctions just aren’t the same.

Hopefully new people enjoying the hobby, along with kids and youth at shows that are engaged and not too intimidated to ask questions.
