Unc. Eagles Available in Silver, Gold
There is something new for collectors of both silver and gold American Eagle coins. Since our report last month, the 2023-W 1-ounce uncirculated silver Eagle and 2023 1-ounce uncirculated gold Eagle have become available. The silver sales total comes in at an impressive 113,034, while the gold is at a more modest 4,115. The pieces were issued on May 25 and June 1, respectively.
Rewind to May 15, and half dollars were the name of the game. The 2023 Kennedy halves went on sale in 200-coin bags and “P” and “D” two-roll sets. Since then, 7,554 bags have been sold and 25,933 roll sets have gone to new homes.
Rounding out the new releases since our last report is the American Women quarter honoring Eleanor Roosevelt. Becoming available on June 5, sales totals are 7,901 for the 100-coin bags, 4,005 for the two-roll sets and 12,658 for the three-roll sets representing each mint that produces them.
Big sellers this time around are the 2023-W 1-ounce silver proof coin with a healthy increase of 24,061 since our last report, the 2023 Congratulations set with an increase of 3,771 and the 2022 uncirculated set with a jump of 2,401.
