As the year winds down, new releases from the U.S. Mint are following suit. There are new products to add to the charts this week.
At the same time, those with coins on their holiday shopping list are going into high gear. We are seeing movement in the newly released Mint holiday ornaments and, interestingly, a notable increase in those of years past.
When it comes to bullion sales, this week we get the first glimpse of their performance in the month of November, through the 10th of the month. Gold Buffalo bullion coins have logged 13,500 so far, bringing the year-to-date total to 314,000.
Gold bullion American Eagles have posted November sales of 36,500 for 1-ounce, 3,000 for 1/2-ounce, 6,000 for 1/4-ounce and 15,000 for 1/10-ounce, bringing their year-to-date totals to 985,500, 91,000, 156,000 and 465,000, respectively.
The silver bullion Eagle total is 474,500 so far in November, bringing the year-to-date total to a mighty 27,226,000.
The Mint has released its 2022 product schedule and will hit the ground running with issues in the new year. A whopping 17 products will be available on Jan. 6, all of which comprise the National Purple Heart Hall of Honor and Negro Leagues Baseball commemorative programs.
