In terms of total ounces sold, gold American Eagle sales as of March 10 outsold February’s total by 1,000 ounces. Authorized Purchasers also ordered 1,373,500 silver American Eagles in the same time, though far from the 3,022,000 purchased in February.
The Mint released the Homestead three-coin set and 5-ounce silver collector’s coin on March 3 and March 5, respectively. Buyers ordered 9,615 three-coin sets and 16,216 5-ounce silver coins.
The Great Smoky Mountains quarter is sold out. Collectors ordered 2,975 Philadelphia, 2,874 Denver and 6,331 San Francisco 100-coin bags. They also bought 10,057 two-roll sets, 6,569 San Francisco rolls and 11,634 three-roll sets.
Orders for the Homestead San Fransisco 40-coin roll have skyrocketed, going from 2,897 to 6,673, beating out the same product for the four previous quarter releases.
