It seems that collectors are losing interest in the America the Beautiful collector’s 5 oz. silver coin series. The latest two issues, Great Sand Dunes and Everglades, saw sales of only 26 and 191 coins, respectively, between Jan. 18 and Jan. 25. With the Great Sand Dunes sales total at 22,535 and Everglades at 20,324 coins sold, it will take a while for either to reach their 30,000 mintage limit.
Love is also lost for the 2014-W gold proof Kennedy half dollar, which saw a net loss of 80 coins between Jan. 18 and Jan. 25 due to returns.
Coming off sale is the 2014 Franklin D. Roosevelt $250 Presidential dollar box from Philadelphia. Buyers purchased 6,977 boxes before sell out.
The 2014 Native American dollar 25-count roll from Denver is also sold out, having seen 1,990 rolls move out.
The 2015-W proof silver American Eagle continues a steady sales pace as 3,861 additional coins were sold between Jan. 18 and Jan. 25. This brings the total sold to 288,486 proof silver Eagles sold.
