The United States Mint reported it has temporarily sold out of the Kisatchie 5-ounce silver bullion coin. Going on sale mid-April, Authorized Purchasers have already ordered 30,000 coins with more available on May 4.
Rolls and bags of the Kisatchie quarter went on sale April 20. By April 26, collectors purchased 1,922 Philadelphia, 2,030 Denver and 2,304 San Francisco 100-coin bags. They also acquired 7,079 Philadelphia and Denver roll sets, 2,653 San Francisco 40-coin rolls and 6,315 three-roll sets, a roll from each Mint facility.
Yet to take off is the Kisatchie three-coin set. In the three days after sales began April 23 only 966 had been sold.
The 2015 America the Beautiful uncirculated quarter set arrived April 22 with sales on April 26 reaching 12,593.
The 2014 Kennedy gold proof half dollar has broken 72,000 coins sold with 72,001 reported purchased by April 26.
