Harding $250 coin boxes are sold out
The Mint has reported that the Harding $250 Presidential dollar Philadelphia box is sold out and the Denver box may soon follow.
From its release to its reported off sale date, buyers purchased 6,995 units. The Denver offering will likely go off sale soon as the U.S. Mint sales figures list shows it still on sale, though the website store page has it out of stock.
Two other Presidential dollar coin products, the 2014 Presidential dollar circulated coin sets from Philadelphia and Denver, are also labeled as out of stock. However, their store page offers a “remind me” notification for when they come back on sale.
Bullion coin sales kept up a strong momentum into October.
The gold American Buffalo bullion coin hit 15,000 sold as of Oct. 14. The next highest month was June with 16,000 sold.
Buyers also purchased 9,500 1-ounce, 2,000 quarter-ounce and 15,000 tenth-ounce gold American Eagles since last report on Oct. 7, spurred on by fluctuations in the precious metals market.
