Orders for the 100-coin bags of Philadelphia minted Homestead quarters have taken off, possibly based on news that collectors were finding doubled die errors. Buyers purchased 275 bags between May 10 and May 17 while the Denver bags saw a loss of four bags and San Francisco had just 27 bags sold.
The Eisenhower Presidential dollar and First Spouse medal set went on sale May 12. Collectors ordered 2,919 sets, well above the 2,890 the previous set, Truman, has sold so far.
The Mint began sales of the 2015 silver proof set May 14 with buyers since purchasing 184,613 sets.
