Could it be that the 15-minute sellout of the Eisenhower Coin and Chronicles set Aug. 11 is causing interest to rise in the earlier Coin and Chronicles offers? Perhaps the quick flips of the 16,830 sets of the 17,000 Ike set mintage stirred collector interest in the 2014 Franklin Roosevelt Coin and Chronicles set. Between Aug. 9 and Aug. 16, the Mint sold 729 of these sets for a total of 14,927 purchased. From Aug. 2 to Aug. 9, collectors had only bought 174 sets. The set has a 20,000 product limit.

Sales are up for the 2015 gold American Eagle one-ounce proof coin. Customers ordered 1,149 coins from Aug. 9 to Aug. 16 compared to the 667 coins sold Aug. 2 to Aug. 9. Sales rose to a lesser degree for the half-, quarter- and tenth-ounce gold Eagle proof coins.

The 2015 High Relief American Liberty gold coin saw a net return of 356 coins, bringing the total sold down to 42,411 coins. This leaves 7,589 left to go to reach the 50,000 maximum.
