In the week since our last report, the 2022 American Innovation dollar proof set became available. After six days of sales beginning June 7, collectors have snapped up a total of 58,691.

The set includes proof versions of the dollar coins issued in 2022, recognizing achievements in the states of Rhode Island, Vermont, Kentucky and Tennessee. While the uncirculated versions of the Rhode Island and Vermont coin have already been released, the Kentucky coin doesn’t become available until June 28, the Tennessee coin Aug. 30.

As this report is being compiled on June 15, no sales numbers have yet been posted for Buffalo gold bullion and silver and gold American Eagle bullion coins. There has been some movement in the proof and uncirculated versions, and those numbers are reflected in the charts below.

Other notable numbers this week include a 4,136 uptick in sales of the 2022 proof set since our last report, bringing its total north of 260,000. Going in the opposite direction, we see a decrease in the reported total for the 2022-W uncirculated American Eagle coin. An 878-unit drop puts its total at 142,860.
