Stack’s sale fetches $2.1 million

Topping the 1,289-lot sale was an 1842 Small Date half that brought in $50,000.

A final total of $2,129,682 was realized in Stack’s Nov. 30 auction in New York City.

The price includes the 15 percent buyer’s fee.

An 1815 quarter, graded MS-67 by Numismatic Guaranty Corp., also netted $48,000.
