Dates have been confirmed for the first-strike ceremony and the launch celebration for the Colorado state quarter.
May 24 is the date for the U.S. Mint?s Colorado first-strike ceremony. The first day of production is scheduled May 22.
Plans for the June 14 launch ceremony have yet to be finalized. That day, bags and rolls of the Colorado quarter will go on sale.
Prices for the two-roll sets and the 100-coin and 1,000-coin bags will be the same as the Nevada and Nebraska quarters. Two-roll sets of the Colorado will cost $32, 100-coin bags are priced at $35.50 each and 1,000-coin bags will cost $300 each.
