Nancy Green has retired as librarian for the American Numismatic Association.
A numismatist, bibliophile, Scout leader, creative crafter, researcher and friend to many, Green retired at the end of April after many years of service to ANA.
During a farewell gathering with staff, ANA Executive Director Chris Cipoletti remarked that he will miss her love of books, but more than that, he will miss her smiling face popping into his office checking to see how he?s doing.
?Nancy, like the many Scouts she mentors is always loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind and cheerful,? Cipoletti quipped in an e-mail newletter from the ANA.
Green will retire with her husband Ron to Pagosa Springs, Colo. She plans to remain active, volunteering her time with the ANA and many other organizations.
Asked about her greatest accomplishment, Nancy proudly announces that her son, Andy, will graduate from the California Institute of Technology in June.
