Poll Question: Will you be attending the World’s Fair of Money this August? What are you most looking forward to?
From the July 24, 2026, Numismatic News e-newsletter, readers reveal their must-see stops at the World’s Fair of Money.
Heritage Auctions will have a preview of items from "The Starlust Showcase of Rare 1893 Columbiana". Many rare R-9 medals, badges, and souvenirs from the World's Columbian Exposition never available to collectors before. Also on display will be the first-ever NGC Columbian Expo Slabs featuring the Ferris Wheel.
Steve wrote the book "Referencing Columbiana," which replaced the 60-year-old former reference book by Nathan Eglit.
The new book has over 1,200 full-color pictures, to size, as they would have looked if you just took them home from the fair. His book won "Best Reference Book of 2025" by the Numismatic Literary Guild.

I enjoy walking through the international mints section to see what the new releases are. I tend to collect silver dollars, but it’s always interesting to me to see what some of the new stuff is.
