Numismatics at Munich Show, Oberhaching, October 23-25, 2026
The world of coins, medals and banknotes meets in Munich.
From 23 to 25 October 2026, the Munich Show will present, for the first time, a dedicated thematic section for coins, medals and paper money at Europe's largest collectors' fair. The exhibitor directory and floor plan for the new numismatics section are now available at www.munichshow.com – the direct link to the interactive floor plan can be found at floorplan.munichshow.com.
Those who would like to get a first overview of who will be present in Munich will already find an impressive list of exhibitors there. The response to the new section has been very positive from the outset: renowned auction houses such as Künker, Gorny & Mosch and Rhenumis have confirmed their participation, as have Emporium Hamburg, Leu Numismatik, Alexander Gayck and Marc Walter from Vienna. The offering is complemented by specialist dealers from across Europe, as well as grading services such as PCGS and SAFE as a specialist for collectors' supplies.
In total, approximately 3,000 square metres of exhibition space in Hall A1 are available for numismatics – with the full professional infrastructure that the Munich trade fair grounds offer: secure and straightforward logistics, short distances and excellent accessibility by metro and by car.
The numismatics section opens on Friday, 23 October, as a trade visitor day – proof of trade status is required on this day. On Saturday and Sunday, the event is open to all collectors and the general public. Tickets are available in the online shop at www.munichshow.com.
Around 50,000 visitors come to Munich every year – academics, collectors and experts, but also many families and interested members of the public. Many of them will be entering the numismatics section for the first time and will encounter an offering that caters to both the experienced coin collector and the newcomer. The renowned auction houses also offer a purchasing service with professional valuations – for anyone who has found an old coin, a medal or a banknote at home and would like to know what it is worth.
The numismatics section is accompanied by two special exhibitions: the Bavarian Numismatic Society presents its own highlight with "Through a Collector's Eyes – The Most Beautiful Medal!", and a cultural-historical special exhibition is dedicated to the life of Bavaria's fairy-tale king Ludwig II and his passion for precious objects and photography. In the Forum in Hall A2, fascinating lectures on numismatic topics will also take place, aimed equally at experts and newcomers.
Dealers who are still interested in participating can register as exhibitors at www.munichshow.com. The Munich Show team is also available for any questions by email at exhibitor@munichshow.com or by phone at 089/6134711.
