At the time this report was made, there were a few additions to the Mint Statistics that were on pre-order, so the sales numbers are quite low, such as the Minnesota American Innovation Dollars, for example.

Last month, this was the case for the FIFA World Cup coins. Now, they have hit the virtual shelves and seem to be quite popular. Soccer fans from all over the world have gathered in North America for the summer to watch this impressive tournament; it is only right that fans get a small keepsake for the event.

The Semiquincentennial coin sales continue to climb. Throughout this issue of Numismatic News, collectors and staff speculate about the future of the hobby, and the general consensus has come down to the 2026 coins being a pivotal collection for bringing in a new generation. The general public has taken an interest in their change, and they have begun to collect this special series.

We will continue to keep watch on how these 2026 coins are received.
