Stephen M. Sullivan is the author of The U.S. Error Note Encyclopedia and Small-Sized High Denomination Notes. A lifelong collector, he has built and studied some of the most advanced collections of error currency, including one of the finest specialized collections of U.S. $1 error notes. Outside of numismatics, his collecting interests have extended to unusual and highly specialized areas, including the largest known collection of upside-down beer and soda cans and one of the most complete collections of upside-down license plates. Professionally, he serves as a Director of Quality in the aerospace and defense industry, where he applies the same analytical and process-driven approach that defines his research into error notes.
