Texas BEP set on sale June 28

Tex0613.jpgThe Bureau of Engraving and Printing on June 28 will offer a new product called the Texas Coin and Currency Set, featuring Series 2003 $1, $2, $5 and $10 Federal Reserve Notes with matching low serial numbers.

The notes will be accompanied by two uncirculated Texas state quarters. Production is limited to 2,000 sets and the price is $129.95 per set.

In addition to matching serial numbers, all four notes will be from the Dallas district of the Federal Reserve System.

The BEP says the notes are  housed in clear, acid-free, polymer sleeves, bound into a hardcover leatherette booklet.

A certificate of authenticity signed by the director of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing and the acting director of the U.S. Mint is included.
