Platinum unc. does odd backward dance

Is there a secret refund line at the Mint? The “W” uncirculated one-ounce platinum American Eagle has had another odd jiggle in the numbers, this time plunging by 344 to 726.

The proof versions of the American Eagle coins moved ahead, perhaps spurred on by sales generated by the holiday sales catalog that came out in late October.

The Jefferson First Day Coin Cover reached the 50,000 sellout mark. The American Legacy set did not, rising by just 5,444. Collectors are primed for the offerring of the Dolley Madison First Spouse gold. Even though this is written just five days before the sale, the price is still unknown.
