War in the Pacific Three-Coin Set Available

The United States Mint announced that a three-coin set honoring the War in the Pacific National Historical Park is now available. Orders began to be accepted on June 18.  This set represents the third of five sites to be commemorated in 2019 as part of the America the Beautiful Quarter Program.

The two sets released earlier in 2019 include Lowell National Historical Park and American Memorial Park. Both of these sets are still available to collectors.  The Mint plans to release the final two sets for 2019 in late summer and fall. Those include San Antonio Missions National Historical Park and Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness.

Each of the War in the Pacific National Historical Park Quarter Sets include two uncirculated quarters – one from Denver and one from Philadelphia, as well as a proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint.

The retail for $9.95 and include one uncirculated quarter from the Philadelphia Mint and one from the Denver Mint as well as a proof quarter from the San Francisco Mint.

The quarters are housed in a durable plastic card that features a picturesque image and brief description of the War in the Pacific National Historical Park as well as the coin.  A Certificate of Authenticity is on the back of the card.

There are no mintage limits or household limits.  Orders can be placed by calling 800-USA-MINT or online at www.usmint.gov.

I wish it was the circulating S quarter instead of the proof.
