Boy Scout numbers start with bang

Boy Scout dollars went on the board with a bang. In approximately six days, collectors have taken 214,673 proofs and uncirculated coins combined. Total mintage can be only 350,000, so a sellout could be just days away.

The American Veterans Disabled for Life comes in this week with combined sales of 181,052 – but this is almost a five-week total. In the past week 10,007 proofs and 4,677 uncirculateds sold.

The 2010 four-coin Presidential proof set dropped by 31,436. Returns?

“Mint Statistics” now gets a page and a half. The boxes are very similar, so I hope you are immediately comfortable.

I have altered the explanatory statement at the bottom of the half page. Totals are almost all running totals since sales began, but with one exception, the monthly bullion Eagles. A second exception for the bullion one-ounce Buffaloes caused confusion with October-December monthly sales totals. The 200,000 is the final overall total.
