From the Dec. 6 Numismatic News E-NewsLetter

Will you be buying a coin commemorating the Brexit event?

Here are some answers sent in from our E-Newsletter readers.

I still hope no such coin will ever be struck because Brexit will be called off.

No. I would not buy a Brexit coin. It is a frivolous commemorative event, designed only to extract monies from fools.

I will buy a Brexit coin if it is made of gold or silver, is for sale at precious metals melt value and has good eye-appeal. Given the small odds of all three factors being true, I do not expect to ever own one.

Bruce Frohman

Yes, I would buy one, depending on cost and value.

Lloyd Harsch
New Orleans, La.

I do not collect commemorative coins, so I would not buy this one.

Nigel Reid

No, I would not buy a Brexit commemorative coin. Brexit is a mistake and I don’t think it will ever happen.
