    I believe the time has come to beef up efforts.
    I was recently in a store where the proprietor checked all of our paper money.
    It seems that it’s become profitable to counterfeit even 1’s and 5’s, and with modern techniques, they are much harder to visually detect.
    Yes, there are things that have been added to aid in detection, however most people don’t know what to look for, and on small denominations, feel most cashiers aren’t going to take the time.
