Did you win on Jeopardy?

Do you often play at home answering the questions while watching the evening game shows?

Last evening, the Final Jeopardy category was World Money, and the closing question was something close to “What country’s notes are printed in seventeen different languages.”

India.

Would you have won? I wonder what source they used?

Hopefully it was the Standard Catalog of World Paper Money, Modern Issues. The Booka nd DVD, or the DVD pack is now available at a discount on www.shopnumismaster.com.

This may have been a re-broadcast. I recall the exact final jeopardy question sometime last year. Being from India, the answer to me was of course trivial, even my children knew the answer to that. While the SCWPM is a wonderful resource (I do own all 3 volumes :)), the authoritative resource for India’s currency is unquestionably Jhunjhunwala’s "Standard Guide to Indian Paper Money".

Yes, it is, and country specialty books are a wonderful addition to any library.
