The hobby’s big annual shindig is convening in Boston today.
I am on my way there after a short night and an early first flight this morning.
The Professional Numismatists Guild Day held today is the commercial gateway to the American Numismatic Association’s World’s Fair of Money, which will run tomorrow through Saturday night at the Hynes Convention Center.
I hope to be on the floor before the afternoon is too far advanced and I am looking forward to attending the annual PNG dinner tonight to see who will be honored with awards.
For me, the hard part of getting going is done. That part is clearing enough work off my desk to allow me to spend time in Boston away from Iola. The wonders of technology will go only so far.
If you plan on attending the Boston convention, come by the Krause Publications booth and say hi.
If you don’t plan to attend, I am sure plenty of reports will follow as to how things are going and how strong the market may or may not be as we approach the beginning of the autumn collector season.
