Wood shows grist mill museum

A new wooden two-cent piece issued by the Delaware County Coin Club of Pennsylvania commemorates the Brandywine River Museum of Chadds Ford, Pa.

The theme side of the wood depicts the museum, which is housed in a Civil War-era grist mill. An addition to the original mill is also shown.

Housed in the museum are American works of art from the last two centuries, highlighting American illustration and local art, including paintings by Andrew and Jamie Wyeth and other Wyeth family members.

Price of the wooden two-cent piece is 50 cents each plus a self-addressed envelope with 64 cents postage. Mail orders to the club at P.O. Box 5252, Springfield, PA 19064. An illustrated list of over 30 prior issues will be included with every order that is filled.
