Utah society issues medal

A Utah Boy Scout camp in the Uinta Mountains is the theme of a new medal created and issued by the Utah Numismatic Society.

Located near Mirror Lake, the camp was established in 1929, as noted and illustrated by the medal’s rustic design and accompanying legends.

The medal has a diameter of 39mm and contains one troy ounce of silver, or copper, or bronze. The silver version is priced at $25 each. The copper is $5 each. The bronze also is $5.

The club asks that $4 be included for postage and handling.

Send orders to Utah Numismatic Society, P.O. Box 65054, Salt Lake City, UT 84165.
