A U.S. 1834 $5, Plain “4” variety, KM-57, is graded AU-58 by NGC. It is available for $2,250.
A highlight of the ancients category is a Greek Macedonia gold stater of Alexander the Great, 336-323 B.C., that features the helmeted head of Athena on the obverse and Nike standing on the reverse. Graded NGC Choice XF, it is listed at $3,450.
