A sellout was declared Sept. 1 for the American Eagle 20th Anniversary Gold Coin Set just 48 hours after the U.S. Mint placed it on sale.

All coins in the set have a ?W? mintmark for West Point. Buyers know that the only way to get one of the 10,000 reverse proofs was by getting this set.

Sales of the other two special anniversary sets were also strong, but had not reached a sellout by press time.
